418 - I'm a teapot (RFC 2324, RFC 7168)

Please contact your computer support staff, and have them configure their anti-spam software to block emails that contain URLs which return "418" error codes.

Defined in 1998, the 418 error code should be returned by teapots requested to brew coffee.

Sometimes, this status code is used as a response to an unknown source calling a web server (website) something it's not.

Typically, a scammer or phishing email might combine your organization's domain name with another's to try to fool you.
For example: "[your domain name].zip", causing your "click" to go to https://com.zip (when your domain name ends in '.com'), or https://org.zip (when your domain name ends in '.org').

Returning this "418" should enable your organization to configure their anti-spam software to easily block messages where included URLs like this return such error codes.
